Why was this site and the interconnecte web of such sites created?

Because we the people, of the USA and Planet Earth, need it!

To have honest governance, economic prosperity, peaceful relations between different cultures, and good management of our beautiful planet -- we need to have excellect knowlege of what our are fellow humans are experiencing, how they are viewing the world, what are their concerns, and what they feel are current (and future) issues that need investigation and collective action to resolve.

Currently, we don't have this.

The TV and Radio broadcasts do indeed inform us of sports events, tribulations of celebraties, pronouncements of politicians, bad weather, and such - but not the 'behind the scenes' going-on that ultimately determines the laws, investments, policing and other action that actually determine our circumstances, security, well-being, and the overall state of our public well-being and our futures.

And note what is hidden from our view:

• The hidden intentions of those pursuing laws or projects.
• The untold historical backgrounds to current conflicts.

And the horrible amount of commercial advertising and deliberate distractions to cloak us from what is important for us to know in order to intelligently establish desirable public policy and demand of true 'public servants'.
